Blackboard Takes the Pledge


Are Moodle and Sakai breathing easier this week now that Blackboard took a pledge not to sue any open source or home-grown course management software providers or users? Take a look at it. It's actually quite short and clear to read.

They needed to react to a lot of bad press they have been getting about their patents from the higher ed community, especially those who saw open source being threatened.
