Google Fast Flip
is a very tactile page-flipping tool that students can use in doing research by browsing sequentially through some newspapers and magazines. They can select categories of popular, controversial, headline, or recent news.

It's interesting that Fast Flip "learns" from your selections and then personalizes your results. This is a part of many social tools currently. Unfortunately, many sites are using it to customize the advertising you see online. I prefer this usage. Fast Flip also allows you to share your selections. Teachers might create selections to share with their students.
