Students Archiving the Internet
Here's a chance for middle or high school students to help capture and archive today’s primary source materials on the Web.
Libraries, archives, and other cultural institutions are increasingly becoming aware of the importance and urgency of preserving the often transitory digital cultural artifacts distributed over the Web.
Most of the decisions about what Web sites are archived are made by adults, but to broaden this perspective, the Internet Archive, the Library of Congress and California Digital Library launched the K-12 Web Archiving Program.
