Amazon Widgets

Just testing out this new service from Amazon.com that allows you to create custom widgets for web pages and blogs. It is, of course, meant to sell things, but you can preview a lot of material too.

The carousel widget below is set to show tech and computer products in a rotating preview.

Does this service have any educational in-the-classroom uses? I could see you creating one to show current fiction best-sellers or perhaps poetry titles...

Add amazon and netflix to the growing number of video download services that DON'T SUPPOT MACS.

I wish the top link the past week on my embed wasn't the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit video. Kind of knocks the Serendipity35 authority quotient down a notch. ;-{
